"Take your seat."
■ Used at the start and end of various events as part of the set 起立, 休め, 気をつけ, 礼, and 着席, some of which may be excluded or added to depending on the setting. These commands are common in public schools at the beginning and end of classes and assemblies. In response to "着席" one should sit, unless one is involved in whatever activity is taking place (such as teaching the lesson that began with these あいさつ).
